Intellectual Property Protection

WeSoft is thoroughly committed to the fundamentals of IP protection, and constantly strives to protect the assets of our clients through a series of stringent security measures including:

  • Execution of a comprehensive WeSoft NDA
  • Signing of client consulting NDA (when necessary)
  • Agreement to any authorship waiver agreements
  • Introduction course for each new employee on international IP law.
  • Constant monitoring of employee activities in line with company policy

We strongly believe in the importance of instilling in the minds of each of our employees the importance of protecting property, both our clients’ and our own. In so doing, we provide ongoing training programs to keep our employees up to date and aware of International IP protection issues. Physical Protection

Every WeSoft development center in China has:

  • Restricted internet access
  • Project rooms dedicated for clients
  • 24-hr surveillance system
  • 24-hr security personnel
  • Physically secured areas and a dedicated VLAN for individual clients
  • Redundant, fail-proof configurations at critical points (network switches, routers, firewalls, domain controllers)
  • Virus protection on all feeds into and out of the customer cell
  • Encrypted data feeds (using VPN and/or dedicated channels) between the customer and vendor
  • Our development centers regularly pass the security audits to our clients for inspection

Automatic Rights Transfer

Each standard contract with WeSoft is bound by Hong Kong and US law and stipulates that all intellectual property resulting from contract execution automatically transfers to the customer.
